Meläg won some awards

It was 3 years ago since my last post which I talked about my book, Meläg, being published. I was thrilled back then when I realized that my stories about a humble little imaginary town was about to turn into a physical copy.

And it was surreal that months after it was published it was being recognized by book critiques and won the 2017 National Book Awards for Graphic Literature, 2017 Komikon Best Graphic Novel, 2018 National Children's Book Awards, Best Reads for Kids. Not to mention some stories are being used as part of school textbooks and some were made in to an animation.

So yeah, I haven't posted anything after 3 years because until now I am still in disbelief.

Making Borderline Event No. 013015

Here's a bunch of images I took while making the new piece for Borderline. You may visit the BORDERLINE page to see the finished piece and some other more.

I usually start with a quick drawing on my 5 x 7 sketchbook.

Kneaded eraser is useful, not just for erasing but also for making small models whenever I needed one.
